At Certified RUG Care the difference is CLEAN.  Our deep cleaning method suspends and removes ground in soils, oil-based residues, and pet odors. Low moisture and surface cleaning methods are very quick and can often be accomplished on site, however the results are little better than an aggressive vacuum cleaning.  Soon after surface cleaning, persistent spots will reemerge, and lingering pet odors will attract your pets back to the same trouble spots.  Our full immersion process flushes the nastiest of soils and pet odors away leaving your precious area rug in a like new condition with no lingering odors.

1. INSPECTION and Pre-Cleaning: Our process begins with documented photos of your area rug and thorough inspection of any trouble spots caused by pets or human spills.  Color testing on richly dyed rugs prevents color bleed during the wash process and every rug is pre-vacuumed and dusted before cleaning.
2. CLEANING: Our patented table-top system uses modern mechanics to move your rug securely and continuously along a conveyor belt driven table with a four-head brush system that gently sweeps back and forth across the top of the rug penetrating deep into the fibers.  This controlled method uses high amounts of both water and detergents which loosen and suspend ground in soils and the odors which often accompany them.
3. EXTRACTING: High moisture cleaning requires accelerated drying times.  This begins directly after cleaning in our high-speed centrifugal extractor machine.  By spinning the rug at extremely high speeds to extract all the remaining water after cleaning, the drying time is cut to hours instead of days.
4. DRYING: Custom made suspension rails provide excellent ventilation to maximize evaporation and cut drying times to minimum.  Suspending the rugs at eye level during drying also allows for easy inspection of remaining spots and areas in need of further attention or repair.
5. Finishing: All rugs are vacuumed again to re-fluff nap and finished on a counter height table which allows for close visual and hand inspection.  Loose threads and frays are trimmed.  Remaining stubborn soils are addressed and the rug is re-rolled and packaged for delivery back to the customer.
6. Repairs and Maintenance: During the cleaning and finishing process we offer minor repairs and maintenance that includes trimming of loose threads and damaged fringe edges.  On tufted style rugs we provide backing and binding reinforcement and can repair small holes and damaged areas.
7. Replacement Binding or Surging of worn rug sides and ends is available upon request.
